Ciudad 360º

On April 30th I have the honour of joining an inspired gathering of thinkers, practitioners, and city-makers as the international keynote speaker at the II Jornada Ciudad 360º Conference in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Taking place at the Palmetum, this event brings together global and local voices to explore one of the most pressing questions of our time: how we design, regenerate, and sustain the cities of the future.

As highlighted in recent coverage, the conference is dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue around innovation, community, and urban regeneration—creating a space where ideas, expertise, and lived experiences can converge.

What makes this event especially powerful is its focus on participation and collaboration. It is not just about envisioning future cities in theory, but about grounding those visions in real-world practice—drawing on international perspectives while engaging deeply with local communities. Santa Cruz de Tenerife itself is at a pivotal moment of transformation, and this conference reflects a collective commitment to shaping a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient urban future.

In my keynote, I’ll be exploring the role of nature-inspired innovation and ecological systems thinking in building cities that are not only sustainable, but adaptive and thriving. I’m particularly excited to engage with fellow speakers, local leaders, and participants who are actively shaping urban change on the ground.
